Westergasfabriek The Netherlands
CLS LED
The Westergasfabriek is a former gas plant in the West district of Amsterdam. At the beginning of the 21st century the site was completely renovated and now it has a cultural and recreational destination and has been named the Westergasfabriek. The area is a beautiful green oasis with several beautifully remarkable industrial buildings.
CLS partner Fairlight b.v. recently has provided one of the buildings, called the Transformer house, with new lighting equipment. For the entertainment lighting, various RGBW fixtures from the own product portfolio were used, namely: Hercules, Ares and Quad Colors.
To illuminate the beautiful wooden vault construction, the new Ruby bracket fixtures of CLS were used. The fixtures were fitted with 2700K, extra warm white light in order to optimize the wood tones.
Only 20 fixtures were needed to optimally illuminate the huge roof. The units are dimmed by means of
1-10V.
In addition to the bracket version, the Ruby fixtures are also available in a pendulum version, and a surface mounted version will soon be added to the delivery package.
RGBW and Tunable White versions will be available immediately after the summer. These will be Directly DMX controlled and equipped with the new DTC (Dynamic Temperature Control) and the DPC (Dynamic Power Control) system.
The first assignments for this have already been provided by enthusiastic light designers.
